Basis Technology expands Washington, D.C., regional office

Herndon, Virginia, December 13, 2005 - Basis Technology (www.basistech.com) announced today that it has expanded its office in Herndon, VA, in response to the continued growth of its business with the U.S. Government.

Basis Technology develops applications which enable the Federal defense, intelligence, and law enforcement communities to extract critical information from foreign language documents. The company’s solutions make the process of mining and analyzing unstructured foreign language text easier, faster, and more precise. Its software is now embedded in over thirty U.S. Government programs.

The new office is located at 13800 Coppermine Road, Herndon, VA 20171. Basis Technology plans to add software engineers, computational linguists, and business development staff in the coming months.
