Join your fellow language and technology professionals on Thursday, June 7, at Basis Technology’s Government Users Conference. Attend a full day of talks, demonstrations, and tutorials showcasing new developments in Human Language Technology (HLT), with emphasis on document and media exploitation (DOMEX), digital forensics, and linguist productivity. This is a unique opportunity to meet the experts, network with your peers, acquire new skills, and plug-in to the fast-growing Basis Technology user community.

Conference Highlights

  • Keynote Address  VADM Lowell (Jake) Jacoby, USN (Ret.) opens the conference by drawing on his 37 years of military and intelligence leadership, most recently as Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. He played a leading role in the global war on terror and more recently in national intelligence reform. Currently, Mr. Jacoby heads up the National Solutions Group of CACI International.
  • Specialized Tracks  Choose from among three tracks: technology, language, and real-world case studies. Explore new approaches to name matching, geospatial fusion, transliteration, chatroom analysis, and multilingual digital forensics. Gain “hands on” experience with practical, deployed systems for information retrieval, document triage, and media exploitation. Bring home tools that will make a difference in your job, right now.
  • Partner Presentations  Learn from Basis Technology partners – including CACI, Endeca, LexisNexis, Saffron Technology, and SAIC – who are delivering cutting-edge products and solutions incorporating complex natural language processing.
  • Networking Opportunities  Meet fellow system architects, software engineers, computational linguists, and program managers for knowledge-sharing and networking. Exchange ideas with the developers behind Basis Technology’s products and give your input on future directions.
